BACK TO CALI!

In June, myself, Michael Gottlieb (Thumpers Auto Salon of San Antonio) and Joe McGrath (Dirty Details of Virginia Beach) decided to make another trip to the west coast. While there, we would test out new Shine Supply Products and work with some of the best detailers on the west coast.

We arrived in Los Angeles late afternoon and after a quick dinner at The Boiling Crab (delicious!), we headed up to Santa Barbara to meet up with Nick Colbern of Colbern's Detail. We wasted no time and around 8:00pm instantly jumped on a Blue Porsche 996. The four of us were able to do a complete Paint Correction and Coat it with CQuartz UK in just a few hours. The owner was ecstatic in its appearance, letting us know the job was complete!

Day two we were joined by Stefan Lungstrum (Authentic Detail of Vacaville, CA), Rob Noonan (20/20 Detailing of Sacramento), Corey Lippincott (Corey's Kreative Detail of Murrieta, CA) and California Reflections. Together, we all knocked out a quick mobile job for Colbern's Detail and then headed south to the Shine Supply Headquarters in Ventura, CA.

While at Shine Supply, we all teamed up and did a full Paint Correction and CQuartz Finest Detail on a Black Porsche 997. It didn't take much time considering each person could work on a panel, but we took advantage of the situation and spent the day product testing and teaching each other techniques. This was by far the most amazing experience of my career as I learned so much!

The next few days were spent hanging out, shopping at Shine Supply, eating some good food and exploring the area. I miss my extended family and absolutely cannot wait to go back and do it again! In the meantime, I will take everything I learned from them and continue to turn out the killer results my clients expect. See you soon Cali!
